To Whom It May Concern;
During a recent review of our files, it was determined that your permit
may meet one of the following criteria:
1 . Permit is expired and needs to be renewed or have a final inspection
2. Due to the type of your permit and scope of work it is possible that
the work has been completed and it needs to be inspected to close
the permit
or
3. The permit is ready to expire and needs to be inspected or an
extension needs to be requested.
Permits are valid for 180 days from the date of issue to the inspection
date and remain valid for 180 days between each required inspection.
If our records are inaccurate and you have had a final inspection, please
send a copy of the signed off permit to this office so that we can update our
cards. If you have not had a final inspection and your permit is expired or will
expire within 30 days, please_ contact this office for a final inspection, update
inspection or extension prior to j�L/ Qaf96 to avoid renewal fees.
All permits which are expired or due to expire within the next 30 days will
become null and void if contact is not made with our office.
If you should have any questions regarding permit validity or the purpose
of this notification, please contact the building department for clarification.

RE: Leland Lindell Violation
Mr. Lindell was issued a storage only permit for his mobile on 4-19-93
and at the same time applied for a building permit. He was replacing a
structure he lost in a fire. The building permit is on HOLD in the Health Dept.
for septic compliance. Mr. Lindell is residing in the Mobile home with just a
storage permit. After receiving a complaint in May, this office investigated the
site and told Mr. Lindell that he was occupying the unit in violation and to
provide the appropriate information to get his building permit issued.
He never responded. On January 5, 1994, 1 sent certified mail to him and the
Title Owner. The title owner responded and said that they sold the property on
contract in the late 70's and got paid in full and now have no interest in the
property. Mr. Lindell responded via phone and said he had a building permit and
wants to get this cleared up. He was informed by Nancy & Phyliss of the
clerical department, Warren and myself that the permit number he was giving
had not been issued and was pending. Mr. Lindell came into the office about
2 weeks ago and again said that he had a orange building permit card with the
actual building permit number on it in addition to the storage permit card. We
told him to mail, fax or bring the proof in and that if he did have a permit for the
set up, it was issued in error. He has not returned. I confirmed with the PUD
that he does not have power to the unit. I feel that a letter outlining the
violation and the consequence may make him more willing to provide the
information to the Environmental Health Dept. in order to get his permit issued.

1 ) This permit is for the storage only of a mobile home This unit is not to be occupied
at any time or have any utilities connected . This permit is valid for a period of sixty
( 60 ) days from the issue date . If the mobile home was manufactured prior to June 15 ,
1976 , Labor and Industires must perform an Alteration/Fire Safety Inspection . The owner
has 60 days to comply with the corrections ordered by Labor and Industiries and obtain
occupancy approval from the Mason County Building Department. If the structure does not
meet compliance with Mason County Regulations or Department of Labor and Industires
Regulations pertaining to mobile homes within the 60 days time frame the owner is
responsible for the removal of the mobile home out of Mason County . In addition if the
structure is placed in a manner that is in violation of any Mason County Regulations or
ances , it will be the applicants liability to correct such defect to the
s tis action , Maso - County .

Dear LELAND LINDELL,
Records indicate a building permit application was submitted over
four months ago. This application has been placed on hold needing
additional information for the Health Department to complete their
review. To date the health department has not received the required
information.
I (we) will supply the necessary information to the
health department in the next two weeks .
I wish to cancel my permit .
If the health department does not hear from you within the next two
weeks, from the date of this letter, it will be assumed that you do
not want to pursue this project further.

6 .030 Minimum Area Requirements :
A. Minimum Lot Area: Permitted uses, hereafter erected,
shall be located on a parcel having an area of not less
than ten acres and shall front on a dedicated public
street . However, nothing in this ordinance shall pre-
vent the use of land for permitted uses or the erection
of buildings in compliance with the provisions of this
ordinance, providing that all buildings erected on such
lots shall meet all of the other requirements of this
or any other applicable ordinance or state statute.
