Pursuant to the 1997 Uniform Bldg code, Section 109 . 1 Use and Occupancy. No building or structure shall be used or occupied, and no change in the existing occupancy classification of a building or structure or portion thereof shall be made until the building official has issued a certificate of occupancy thereof as provided herein. Cedar Shelton, WA 98584 Dear Toni; This letter is in reference to our conversation on May 14, 1996, at your office as it concerns Shearer trucking. There are three areas that I will address in this letter, Purpose, Fuel and Insulation. PURPOSE: The building will be used as a truck shop to include but not limited to maintenance and repairs. This should allow us to use 1.5 watts per sq. ft. in our overhead lighting. FUEL: The fuel to be used in the heating of the building is to be a natural fuel source. INSULATION: Our plan is to use 2" of ridged board insulation 18" down the outside of the footing and then 18"vertically out from the building at the base of the horizontal insulation.. Also we will use 6" R-19 batts in the roof and 3.5" R-I I batts in the walls.
