Project Description.-
Construct 8 ft. wide by 12 ft. deep fixed dock along the lake channel supported by
small galvanized piling in water and by a concrete sill on shore; and two landscape
walls (proposed as 2 to 4 ft. tall, 40 to 50 ft. long) at 8 to 20 ft. from lake channel,
regrade to lower level to match landward side of proposed dock.

This permit, with conditions, is granted pursuant to the Mason County Resource Ordinance
(Chapter 17.01 MCC.) Nothing in this permit shall excuse the applicant from compliance with
any other federal, state, or local statutes, ordinances, or regulations applicable to this project.
This permit may be rescinded if the permitee fails to complete the project as proposed or fails
to comply with the standards of this ordinance.

Conditions:
1.) Approved per dimensions of structures and setbacks on submitted site plan; the June
2012 version had a 8 ft. wide by 12 ft. deep dock located at the shoreline.

2.) The applicant acknowledges that the project will be completed as proposed, so that the
project will be consistent with all applicable standards of the Mason County Resource
Ordinance.
3.) A Hydraulic Project Approval from the Washington State Department of Fish Wildlife
must be granted prior to construction. For more information contact Habitat Biologists
Gloria Rogers(Freshwater) at 360-249-1293 ext 249 or Margie Schirato (Saltwater) at
427-2179.

4.) All upland areas disturbed or newly created by construction activities shall be seeded,
vegetated or given an equivalent type of erosion protection (silt fencing or straw matting).

5.) Temporary erosion control measures must be implemented to prevent water quality
degradation of adjacent waters or wetlands. Silt fencing must be installed and maintained
until upland vegetation has become established.

6.) All construction and demolition debris must be removed from the shore area after project
completion. Proper disposal of construction debris must be on land in such a manner that
debris cannot enter or cause water quality degradation of State waters.
