To whom it may concern,
The Mason County Building Department received a building permit application for a deck and
carport . The permit was approved for issue on August 18th,2008. The building permit was
submitted because the structure was built without an approved building permit and deemed to be a
violation of Mason County Code, Chapter 14. Our office had started enforcement activities because
of the code violation.
Mason County Code, Section 14.08.040 and Section R105.5 of the 2009 International Residential
Code specifies that permits expire when no activity takes place within 180 days. The 180 day time
period has been exceeded. Please complete the form below and return to our office within 21-days.
Please indicate vour intent for the above reference permit.
I have or will remove the violation within 30 days.
I will pick up my permit. I would like 30 days to pick it up.

If we do not receive a response from you within 21-days from the date of this letter an inspection
will be scheduled to verify enforcement actions and re-post the structure with an enforcement
notice.
