Galando 3124 SW 171s' St Seattle, WA 98166-3244 RE: Violations of Mason County Code Chapter 33, Grading and Excavating ENF2001-00181 1997 Uniform Building Code, Permits required ENF2001-00182 Dear Mr. And Mrs. Galando, On June 4, 2001, I received a phone call from Mr. Galando acknowledging the posting of a Correction Notice for failure to obtain the required Land Modification Permit for grading activities occurring on site. The Correction Notice required submittal of the required permits within 7 working days. To date, no permit application is on file for the grading or proposed retaining wall. I have enclosed the required permit applications and Chapter 33 Grading for your review and submittal. Further non-permitted construction activities associated with the addition of garage doors to an existing structure were reported to this office on June 27, 2001 and upon inspection, the project was posted with a Stop Work Order. In order to bring your site into compliance with Mason County regulations, you must: ■ Apply for and receive an after the fact Land Modification Permit for the grading activity ■ Apply for and receive an after the fact Building Permit for the alteration to the existing garage On both occasions, Pat Venglar from North Shore Landscaping was on site and discussions regarding permit requirements ensued, although most recently, he indicated that he was not associated with the garage project.
