Dear Applicant :
As part of this department ' s review on your permit application, a
Resource Lands and Critical Areas (RLC) site inspection was performed on
your property. Below you will find comments made regarding the proposed
development and its critical values .
In some cases, setbacks for development from steep slopes, streams,
wetlands, and waterbodies must be included in your specific proposal ;
these setbacks are included as part of the comments listed below.
This information is based on County and State regulations as they exist
to date. These regulations may change and may affect the requirements for
development of the subject property.
Please contact me at (360) 427-9670 or (360) 275-4467, ext . if you
have any questions .
Sincerely,
Land Use Planner
Department of Community Development
COMMENTS:
This is a category III Wetland. Property is level in the west half of
this lot. Slope mostly 10 to 12% near the wetland area in the east half
of the lot. Adequate area for development in the west half and to provide
greater than 100 ft setback from wetland. Well could be on slope less
than 10% but should be more than 50 feet from the wetland (the proper
buffer distance from wetland edge) .
