He said this is to be used as his progress inspection. I told him I would pass this on to you. I did notice,in Tidemark and in his file that the framing was a fail. I asked if he wanted to schedule for a re-inspect, but he said no,just to have you call if you have any questions. I was kind of left with the impression that he thinks somebody signed off on the framing. Tidemark notes also state to call for a re-inspect before continuing. Just to make sure this gentleman is on the same page as we are could you please review Tidemark and file and maybe give him a call to check on what he's doing. I would hate to see him continue on something if in actuality he needs to have it inspected before then. Also, I'm not sure if this photo covers what was requested on the Correction Notice. Let me know if you have any questions. John Dalberg 277-0206 Thanks, Mary Hodge zco(a - C05s 1 , , engineering inc. CEDAR ST At the request of the builder, John Dalberg, I have reviewed the plan revision dated 2-13-13 to add a window and eliminate a footing for the Vangelder garage located at 2940 E. Grapeview Loop Road. I previously provided the lateral engineering for the Vangelder garage in 2004. The attached plan with modification clouded describes the scope of work. 1. The back of the existing shop can accept a 5'x4' window. The wall is 24% loaded in seismic design and 28% loaded in wind design. 2. As an option to the 24"x24" footing pad the builder may post down to a 12" retaining wall with ABA662 bracket. The concrete retaining wall can support the post. See attached builder's plan, lateral engineering, and plan view of the window location are attached. Please contact me with any questions regarding this project. 4/10/213 Letter#1 0 f r r Q> 37886 John Hodge P E1tPIRES: 121101 7 33I I,. Hodge Engineering, Inc. John E. Hodge P.
