Byrne PO Box 471 Union, WA 98592 RE: Violation of Uniform Building Code Enforcement File No.: ENF95-0060 Site Address: E 4261 Hwy 106, Union, WA Dear Mr. Byrne, On March 23, 1995 our office posted a stop work on a fence and remodel in process without the required permits at the above location. According to Mason County Assessor records you are listed as the property owner. In order to be in compliance with Mason County Ordinance 138-92 and Uniform Building Code regulations it will now be necessary for you to apply for an after the fact building permit. If the fence height were to be reduced to 6' from grade to the top of the fence, the permit requirement for the fence could be waived however, the remodel permit will still be required. Enclosed is the building permit application forms, one for each project. When submitting the application you will need to include structural drawings and explanations of the work and materials used. Also include the chimney detail as this appears to be a new addition when compared to prior photos of the structures presently on file. If any interior changes have occurred a floor plan will also need to be drawn. Please make the necessary arrangements to submit the applications and drawings prior to April 30, 1995.
