Thank you for contacting the Squaxin Island Tribe Cultural Resources Department regarding
the above listed project for our review and comment. I am responding to you on behalf of
Rhonda Foster, THPO. The project area has a high potential for the location of cultural
resources but due to the nature of the project we have no specific cultural resource
concerns for this project. If any archaeological or cultural resources are uncovered during
implementation, please halt work in the area of discovery and contact DAHP and the
Squaxin Island Tribe for further consultation.
Also, I believe the map in the package shows parcel 12229-50-02010 instead of
12229-50-02019.
