Job shack is gone, sign is still there. Sign must be removed. See attached Pictures
2. ENF2014-00060-

require the tide to be out.

garage. The property goes from top of hill (Merrimount) to water, State Route 106, in area of the sign there is more netting
and lumber debris, this must all be removed. Complaint can be closed when all items are removed.

Dear Directors:
We are writing to request your assistance in resolving a dangerous situation involving an abandoned
home in our neighborhood. The undersigned are neighbors on Merrimount Rd of the subject home and
beach property which has now been abandoned for several years. We have attempted to communicate
with the owners of the property, Bank of America, however have not received any response.
The current condition of the home and dock/beach area has now reached a dangerous situation. During
PCt 7 e time since it's apparent foreclosure in 2009,the residence was occupied by a commercial shellfish
c pany which has now abandoned the sire leaving commercial fishing/harvesting equipment and very
da gerous metal posts embedded in the beach. The utilities have not been connected for some time
an there is now evidence of it being occupied by squatters. The dock on the property which is shared
by the family at 141 E. Merrimount has broken apart and is in need of repair. All of this presents a very
dangerous environment and leaves the beach and dock unusable by its owner.
We have enclosed photographs indicating the deteriorated condition of the property.
The purpose of this letter is to determine how Mason County can assist us to remedy this dangerous
situation. We would appreciate a phone call with you to discuss options. Please contact me by
telephone(360 921 0069)or by email (greg.hatton@kicinti.com).
We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely, r
Greg and Betsy Hatton, 145 E. M&r-imount
