In the many meetings, and in correspondence with regulatory agencies, I have at all times expressed our willingness and desire to cooperate fully, and to update our plans and specifications as improved methods become known. It is our desire to incorporate any new or better ways that become known to construct and operate the new Inn in the most clean, orderly, and acceptable manner, so that the interests of guests, neighbors, and general public are best served. Previous correspondence with the agencies has explained the reasons for past unavoidable delays. When we finally had all the objections remedied, and all the requirements complied with, the interest rates made the project financially unfeasible. Now the interest rates are decreasing, making it entirely possible that the project can be pulled together again in June, July, or August of this year. Every effort is being made now to accomplish this. I will be reviewing plans, specifications and details with regulatory agencies as soon as the project again becomes financially feasible. In the meantime we respectfully request all possible con- sideration and help from the agencies. W A S H I N G T 0 N ' S F N E S T R E S O R T . . .
