These calculations along with the original 1992,1996, and 1998 calculations verify the ramp design will be adequate for the following design criteria: Live Load: Per Schedules Below Wind: 60 mph. UBC 1997, Exposure "C" Utilities: NIA Guardrail: 20 plf lateral per UBC 1997 (table 16-B) Aluminum: 6061-T6 Welding: 5356 Filler Alloy, All Welding Performed by WABO Certified Weldors. Shore Mounts: All calculations assume that adequate foundations, shore mounts, and landings have been provided to support the gangway ramp.
