Case No.: RLC2000-00031 Parcel No.: 322357590300 Dear Applicant: As part of this department's review of your permit application, a Resource Lands and Critical Areas (RLC) site inspection was performed on your property. Below you will find comments made regarding the proposed development and its critical values. In some cases, setbacks for development from steep slopes, streams, wetlands and waterbodies must be included in your specific proposal; these setbacks are included as part of the comments listed below. This information is based on County and State regulations as they exist to date. These regulations may change and may affect the requirements for development of the subject property. Please contact me at (360)427-9670 or (360)275-4467, ext. )9- if you have any questions. Sincerely, Land Use Planner Department of Community Development Comments: A site visit was performed by planning staff, Shandra O'Haleck, on July 6, 2000 to determine county regulations for development. Due to the degree of slope (>40%) a geotech report will be required prior to building permit approval. It is recommended that the report be done before septic system and well placement to assure the site is developed safely. Although this site has steep slopes, it does appear to be relatively stable due to no noticeble ground 07/07/2000 1 of 2 RLC2000-00031 water seeps or bowing trees. In a conversation with Stephanie Kenny, Mason County Environmental Health Specialist, she stated that the water catchment system that exists on your property is allowed provided it meets EPA guidelines. Please contact her at (360)427-9670, extension 293 for further information on your system. It appears from the permits issued for this property, that are in the Mason County computer system that the structure that exists on the site was approved as a pump house and conditioned that it was not for occupancy unless a change of use was applied for. Please contact Mike Barth, Plans Examiner, at extension 551 for information on applying for this permit and for details for further expansion of this structure. 07/07/2000 2 of 2 RLC2000-00031 To: Shandra Company: Fax number: +1 (360) 427-8425 Business phone: From: Ron Cole, CFP Fax number: +1 (253) 850-9849 Business phone: Home phone: 75 Date & Time: 6/27/00 2:22:04 PM Pages: 5 Re: Timbertides Here are the copies Ron ns;isiov Mu 13:04 FAX 3004277798 19ASUN c;OURTY ar.0 3 1A002 Pleast+ iQusttQ bo[ow the proposed buiiding Bite in relation to wnftr & proPo'W lines! i ... ... . .. ..
