Biggs, applicant The Department of Ecology has reviewed the above referenced permit to enclose an existing 24' x 16' overwater deck at a single family residence located on Hood Canal near Union. We concur that the proposal meets the Master Program and WAC 173-14 criteria for granting a variance and hereby approve the permit. This approval is given with the stipulation that no additional overwater construction will be allowed in the future. This approval is given pursuant to requirements of the Shoreline Management Act of 1971. Other federal, state or local approvals may be required. Construction is not authorized until thirty days from the transmittal date of this approval or until conclusion of any review proceeding initiated within the thirty-day period. Sincerely, �<4C D.
