As part of this department ' s review on your permit application, a
Shoreline (SPI) site inspection was performed on your property. Below you
will find comments made regarding the proposed development and it ' s
critical values.
In some cases, setbacks for development from shorelines, steep slopes,
streams, and wetlands must be included in your specific proposal; these
setbacks are included as part of the comments listed below.
This information is based on County and State regulations as they exist
to date. These regulations may change and may affect the requirements for
development of the subject property.

COMMENTS:
Site visit made to examine existing home and shoreline standards; home is
53 ft. wide and 10 ft. 4 in. deep; wooden deck on waterside is 53 ft. wide
and 17 ft. deep and overhangs the concrete bulkhead by 6 ft. on west side
and 6 ft. 10 in. on the east side; home and deck are 8 ft. from the
bulkhead on the west and a 10 ft. wide concrete boat ramp is along the
east side of property; most of the house is 34 ft. from the short rock
wall along the highway and the area is used for parking; a small 4 ft. by
5 ft. add-on is attached to the rear of the house; this non-conforming
home can be maintained by repair especially along the front and sides; any
expansion proposed must be 15 ft. from the bulkhead along the property
lines (essentially to the rear of the existing home) ; the property to the
south side of the highway is steep slopes and would need geotechnical
review for any development.
