The applicant would also need to show that his present septic system is adequate for the number of bedrooms proposed. We would need the legal description of the property to check our records for this information. The applicant may request a variance from the setback requirements, if he can demonstrate a hardship, specific to the property, which, if not granted, would deny him reasonable use of the property.
