Below you will find comments made regarding the proposed development and it ' s critical values . In some cases, setbacks for development from steep slopes, streams, wetlands, and waterbodies must be included in your specific proposal; these setbacks are included as part of the comments listed below. There is a plateau with an adjacent gully with steep slopes greater than 15%. Building Department shall set required setbacks from edge of slopes to proposed structures . LOT C: Development along this lot will require engineering consultation for grading and building foundation due to steep slopes. LOT D: (PROPERTY' S ENTRANCE) . Gully area ends at this lot. There are indications that significant runoff drainage is present during winter months . This will be a significant limitation for development along this area. Make checks payable to the Mason County Treasurer. This checklist is an important opportunity fot-identifying early in the permit process whether there will be any Interim Resource Ordinance environmental regulations affecting the proposed development. Attached are helpful hints to assist you in the completion of your Resource Land Checklist. SITE ADDRESS - Actual location of where work will take place for which permit is being applied for. OWNER ADDRESS - Address of person who owns property (not necessarily site address). PARCEL NUMBER - This can be obtained from tax statements or the Assessor's office. LEGAL DESCRIPTION- Name of the subdivision or area, division, tract, block, lot number, or tract number of section township and range. PROJECT DESCRIPTION - Example: Residential development, mobile home placement, septic site evaluation, new drainfield. DIRECTIONS TO SITE- Please include main roads in area, details to get to your road, use land marks (i.e. "gray house on left", or "red mailbox on right with rail fencing") or addresses (i.e. "directly across from E 413 Lombard Road") SITE PLAN - If you have already prepared a site plan for submission with a building permit or septic permit application, a copy may be attached to this checklist--a separate site plan is not necessary. Copies are available at Mason County Department of Community Development for $5.00 each.
