5. Identify current use of the property with existing improvements:
The Port of Grapeview property is used as a boat ramp primarily by recreational boaters and commercial shellfishers.
The upper area of the property is used as a driveway to back boats onto the boat launch ramp.
6. Identify and describe the proposed project, including the type of materials to be used,construction methods,
principle dimensions,and other pertinent information(attach additional sheets,if needed):
The proposed proiect will provide the community with a floating dock for short-term water access and limited duration
mooring of boats before and after use of the boat ramp.
7. Describe why the action requiring this permit cannot be avoided.
The proposed dock will provide the community with proper water access for watercraft.In addition,in order to extend times,the
dock can be used without grounding of watercraft,the dock must be longer than the minimum required length.
