This area is also identified on Mason County landslide hazard maps as being in an area of unstable soils. Due to this a geo-tech report would be required prior to any permit approval. Please find enclosed Mason County's policy regarding geo-tech reports which clarifies Section 17.01.100 E.3 (Landslide Hazard Areas) of the Resource Ordinance No. 77-93.
