New wall to be built in same location as existing rock wall which will be removed. Lead Agency: MASON COUNTY The Lead Agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment . An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43 .21C. 030 (2) (c) . This decision was made after review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Lead Agency. This information is available to the public upon request. MITIGATION MEASURES ARE ATTACHED. This DNS is issued under 197-11-350 (2) , the Lead Agency will not act on this proposal for 15 days from the date below. Comments must be submitted by 05/31/95 . New concrete bulkhead shall be located no further waterward than existing toe rocks, excluding the isolated toe rocks extending waterward of the majority. This line corresponds with southwest corner of existing boathouse, 3rd step down from top of stairway and to southeast corner of existing boathouse on property to west . Conditions issued on WDFW Hydraulic Project Approval may further restrict location. 2 . Old rock shall not be left on beach. 3 . Stairway shall be fully recessed into bulkhead, or cantilevered in front of and parallel to bulkhead such that only the lowest base stair rests on beach. 4 . Temporary erosion control measures shall be implemented to minimize water quality impacts during construction.
