and 50 ft, forward of ordinary high water mark; set on short concrete piers.

This permit, with conditions, is granted pursuant to the Mason County Resource Ordinance
(Chapter 17.01 MCC.) Nothing in this permit shall excuse the applicant from compliance with
any other federal, state, or local statutes, ordinances, or regulations applicable to this project.
This permit may be rescinded if the permitee fails to complete the project as proposed or fails
to comply with the standards of this ordinance.

Conditions:
1.) Site Plan
Approved per dimensions of structures and setbacks on submitted site plan; the June 28,
2013 plan has the configuration of retaining walls, rails, and support posts extending to 50
ft. total length that are subject to this review.

Resource Ordinance
The applicant acknowledges that the project will be completed as proposed, so that the
project will be consistent with all applicable standards of the Mason County Resource
Ordinance. Future work within the vegetation buffer and shoreline critical area will be
reviewed by the Dept. of Community Development prior to starting such work

Shoreline Management Act
The proposed project must be consistent with all applicable policies and other provisions
of the Shoreline Management Act, its rules, and the Mason County Shoreline Master
Program.

WDFW Hydraulic Project Approval
A Hydraulic Project Approval from the Washington State Department of Fish Wildlife
must be granted prior to construction. For more information contact Habitat Biologists

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Review
Section 10 (Rivers and Harbor Act) or Section 301/404 (Clean Water Act) compliance
must be demonstrated through permit or authorized exemption by the Army Corps of
Engineers prior to work within navigable waters or wetlands under Corps jurisdiction.

Construction Debris Removal
All construction and demolition debris must be removed from the shore area after project
completion. Proper disposal of construction debris must be on land in such a manner that
debris cannot enter or cause water quality degradation of State waters.

Concrete Leachate
Concrete leachate must be contained during pouring, such that water quality degradation
of adjacent waters does not occur.

Work must be done in the dry time periods or low tide to help prevent disturbance of
unstable soil layers and uncontrollable mass wasting in work area.
