MASTER PROGRAM PROVISIONS & SPECIAL CONDITIONS This permit is granted pursuant to the Shoreline Management Act of 1971 and nothing in this permit shall excuse the applicant from compliance with any other federal, state or local statutes, ordinances or regulations applicable to this project,but not inconsistent with the Shorline Management Act (Chapter 90 .58 RCW) . This permit may be rescinded pursuant to RCW 90 .58 . 140 (7) in the event the permittee fails to comply with the terms of conditions hereof . As proposed by applicant, all styrofoam flotation to be encased. (Per Use Reg. #1) 2. The use of pressure treated wood is approved for use in this project provided the supplier certifies in writing that appropriate best management practices have been employed in its production and that the material is free of excessive surface residue prior to installation;and the material is either"fixed"in the case of arsenical treated material or"clean and dry"in the case of creosote or oil borne treated material. This certification shall be provided to Mason County prior to construction. The certificate shall state the purchaser's name. (Per Use Reg. #1) 3. The surface of floating dock shall be a minimum of eight inches above the surface of the water. (per Use Reg. #3) 4. All floating structures shall include intermittent supports to keep structures off the tidelands at low tide. (Per Use Reg. #4) 5. All facilities shall be constructed and maintained in a safe and sound condition. (Per Use Reg. #5) 6. The facility and associated moorings shall be located to avoid shading of eelgrass and other aquatic vegetation. (Per Use Reg. #1)
