Shoreline Substantial Development Permit#2003-SW-02316
The referenced Shoreline Management Substantial Development Permit has been filed with this office by
Mason County on May 01,2003. This permit authorizes the construction of a community-use pier,ramp
and float extending a total of I I0-feet waterward of the ordinary high water mark or the minus 5 tide,
which ever is more landward, on Hood Canal. The proposed facility will consist of a 6-ft by 60-ft pier, a
4-ft by34-ft ramp, an 8-ft by 8-ft float and two 8-ft by 30-ft floats with 10 piling.
The development authorized by the subject permit may NOT begin until the end of the 21-day appeal
period,May 22,2003.The Shorelines Hearings Board(SHB)will notify you by letter if this permit is
appealed. You can reach the SHB directly at(360)459-6327. Other federal, state,and local permits may
be required in addition to the shoreline permit.
If this permit is NOT appealed,this letter constitutes the Department of Ecology's final notification of
