The request is to create a mobile home park with 61 or 62 sites on 15 acre portion of a larger sized parcel at the intersection of State Route 300 (North Shore Rd. ) and Sand Hill Road. Department of Community Development has reviewed this proposal using the standards of the Mobile Home and Recreational Park Ordinance, and this proposal was presented before the Mason County Planning Commission on June 19, 1995 . The Planning Commission recommended that the proposal be approved with ten added conditions . Today the Department of Community Development requests that the Board of County Commissioners set a date for a public hearing to review the proposed project and receive comments from interested individuals . To facilitate public input, this Department recommends that the site of the hearing be located in the Belfair area, such as the Belfair Fire Hall or Theler Center. Once the date is set, legal notices announcing the hearing will be placed in the local papers . I went ahead and made an illustration of the common line and residence on the three property involved. This shows that you would be able to locate an addition to the residence as long as it is behind the common line to avoid view obstructions .
