Per section 901.2.1 of the 2006 International Fire code, Statement of Compliance. Before requesting final approval of the installation, the installing contractor shall furnish a written statement to the fire code official that the subject fire protection system has been installed in accordance with the approved plans and has been tested in accordance with the manufactures specifications and the appropriate installation standard. Any deviations from the design standards shall be noted and copies of the approvals for such deviations shall be attached to the v�ritten statement. X / 2.) Xhe aut�atic ipe alarm system is required to be fully monitored by a UL certified monitoring company. This permit becomes null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within 180 days,or if construction or work is suspended for a period of 180 days at any time after work is commenced. Evidence of continuation of work is a progress inspection within the 180 day period. Final inspection must be approved before building can be occupied. Fees The permit fee will be assessed based on the submitted contractor bid for the project or a minimum of$168.50. A plan review fee will be calculated at 65%of the permit fee(minimum$109.50)and is due upon submittal of permit application. We will not be responsible for shunt trips. -We will provide two external relays(set of dry contacts located in the elevator machinery room)for the Elevator Recall function,if applicable. -We will not be responsible for the telephone line connection. However,we will be providing two RJ31X jack and cords at the fire alarm control panel. -This proposal does not Include any tennant improvements. -We will provide all necessary low-voltage electrical connections to the sprinkler devices(provided by others).
