Lead Agency: MASON COUNTY
The Lead Agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a
probable significant adverse impact on the environment . An Environmental
Impact Statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43 .21C. 030 (2) (c) . This
decision was made after review of a completed Environmental Checklist and
other information on file with the Lead Agency. This information is
available to the public upon request . MITIGATION MEASURES ARE
ATTACHED.

1) The applicant shall comply with the specifications and conditions of the Washington
Department of Fish and Wildlife Hydraulic Project Approval issued for this project.
2) Pressure treated wood must be completly dry prior to placement in water. Use of
cresote or pentachloro phenol is prohibited.
3) The applicant shall use best management practices for construction of the structure
and shall remove construction debris from the shoreline area following project
completion.
4) The applicant is responsible to ensure that Best Management Practices are designed
into the project and implemented during construction to comply with Washington
State Surface Water Quality Standards, WAC 173-201A, revised November 18,
1997.
5) The proposed project must be consistent with all applicable policies and other
provisions of the Shoreline Management Act, its rules, and the Mason County
Shoreline Master Program.
