As part of this department ' s review on your permit application, a
Shoreline (SPI) site inspection was performed on your property. Below you
will find comments made regarding the proposed development and it ' s
critical values .
In some cases, setbacks for development from shorelines, steep slopes,
streams, and wetlands must be included in your specific proposal; these
setbacks are included as part of the comments listed below.
This information is based on County and State regulations as they exist
to date. These regulations may change and may affect the requirements for
development of the subject property.

COMMENTS:
This site visit was conducted for the waterfront segment of the property.
Staff met with the Vermillions on site. Property includes a
non-conforming cabin that was damaged by a fallen tree. There is an
existing bulkhead approximately 25-30 feet in length. There is some
indication that at high tide, water flows around the bulkhead. Damaged
cabin can be repaired as a non-conforming structure but cannot be
expanded. If an expansion of exisitng bulkhead is proposed, applicant
will have to show that significant shoreline erosion has been reducing the
waterfront area of this property.
