PRE-SUBMISSION CONFERENCE REQUEST FORM
The purpose of the pre-submission application is to identify and/or eliminate as many potential problems as
possible in order for the project to be processed without delay. Representatives from the Building Department, Fire
Marshal's office, Environmental Health, Planning, and Public Works departments may attend the meeting to discuss
rules and regulations applicable to the proposed project. Topics covered during the meeting will include the
comprehensive plan, shoreline program, zoning, availability of sewer and potable water, development concepts,building
construction, fire protection and life safety of the proposed project. By providing the most accurate and detailed
information on the application and site plan your pre-submission conference will be more informative.
Pre-Submission conferences are held every Wednesday and last approximately one hour. To schedule a meeting
complete the application on both side and return 10 copies of the site plan, along with $205.00 fee, by 4:30 on the
Wednesday prior to the proposed Wednesday meeting to the Mason County Department of Community Development,

The site is currently operating with a Group B well located within the boundaries of the property. WFI#
001951 . We currently have an application in with the DOE for additional water rights. Additionally,we are
working on a transition to Group A,transient classification. We have engaged a water rights attorney in this
process (Kathleen Callison)and 2020 Engineering in Bellingham,WA(Toni VanMale).
What isplannedfor an on-site sewage system?Ifyou are proposing a new on-site system provide detail on the required
site plan.
A site wide sewer system designed by Chris Webb of 20/20 Engineering to handle current and future growth was
installed in 2003
