Box 312 Union WA 98592 Februar 10, 2006 OBE KEPT N y PARCEL FALE TH E Dear Mr. Levette, This letter concerns the status of the short subdivision under review for the Dalby Water Wheel. A copy of this letter will also be sent to your surveyor, John Kieffer at Map LTD. Below is a list of items needed to complete the review of this application. Additions to the plat map: The legal description at the top of the map needs to be corrected (it is for a site in Kitsap County). The name of the property owner to the south needs to appear in the appropriate location. The plat map should indicate the location of the septic system for Lot A and also indicate whether or not potable water for Lot A is provided by an individual well or a community water system. If the parcel is served by an individual well, the location should be shown and the water rights exemption/water allocation statement below should appear on the face of the plat map. If Lot A is served by a community system the name of the system needs to be noted on the plat map. Water withdrawals from any and all exempt wells apply to parcels created from the original lot 32233-50-00006 and are limited to 5,000 gallons per day total unless a water right is obtained for the additional volume above the exempt 5,000 gallons. The amount of water that can be withdrawn for each lot is specified below: Lot A: 5,000 gallons per day Lot B: 0 (zero)gallons per day In order to satisfy the Mason County Environmental Health Department the following statement needs to be printed on the face of the plat map: Resulting Lot B is considered a special purpose lot per Mason County Code 1.04.223.E and as such, no residential development of this lot is possible. Other pending reviews: I have been in conversation with the Mason County Fire Marshal and expect his approval for this proposal soon, but as of this date I have not received it. Finally, a determination has been made that this proposal does not require a rear yard setback variance, as the County feels that the reduced setback was adequately addressed during the MEP review in 2004/05. I am enclosing a(partial)refund application for your convenience. Once these issues have been resolved and your surveyor provides the County with final maps and recording fees I should be able to obtain approval for this proposal. Please call me at ext. 571 or e-mail me at mmsnco.mason.wa.us with any questions. Thank you. Sincerely, Michael MacSems Subdivision Planner cc: John Kieffer Craig Haugen
