An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21 C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Lead Agency. This information is available to the public upon request. A-LIffiefized Local Government Official Date 1 MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (WAC 197-11-350) SEP2007-00166 CONDITIONS OF THIS DETERMINATION 1) The surface of floating structures shall be a minimum of eight inches about the surface of the water.X 'T/ 2 , 2) Floatation for the structure shall be entirely enclosed and contained to permanently prevent the breakup or loss of the floatation material into the water. X ]t-zZ 3) Erosion Control Erosion control measures must be in place prior to any clearing, grading, or construction. These control measures must be effective to prevent soil from being carried into surface water by stormwater runoff. Sand, silt, clay particles, and soil will damage aquatic habitat and are considered pollutants when discharged to waters of the state. X 7-/ �-- Sediment Any discharge of sediment-laden runoff or other pollutants to waters of the state is in violation of Chapter 90.48, Water Pollution Control, and WAC 173-201A, Water Quality Standards for Surface Waters of the State of Washington, and is subject to enforcement action. My calculations indicate that these gangway ramps meet or exceed the requirements of the 2003 international Building Code (AA -ASM 35 and Parts 1-A and 1-B of the Aluminum Design Manual) for allowable stresses and deflections using the top and bottom chords listed in following tables. For all gangway lengths,the dead load allowance is 10 pounds per square foot (10 psf), the utility allowance is 10 pounds per lineal foot(10 ppt), and the handrail concentrated load is 100 pounds.
