Mitigation - The following measures shall be taken to mitigate for
the damages that occurred as a result of clearing activities
conducted without obtaining required Forest Practice Permits.
1. Maintain a 25' buffer along all shoreline banks . This buffer
shall be restored by planting natural vegetation per the
requirements of the Department of Natural Resources and Mason
County which are as follows:
1. Trees shall be planted by professional tree planters or
consulting forester.
2 . Trees will be planted on 101x 10, spacing with the first
row of trees being located 5' from the Ordinary High
Water Mark of the stream. The second row shall be 15'
from the Ordinary High Water Mark of the stream and the
third row 251 .
3 . The Department of Natural Resources and The Mason County
Planning Department shall be notified when the planting.
has been completed. Planting shall be completed no later
than June 1, 1992 .
The Mason County Planning Department will conduct a site inspection
on or before June 1, 1992 to assure compliance with these
mitigation measures . If the mitigation has not been completed all
building permits may be rescinded and a no occupancy posted on the
existing residence.
