RE: Bulkhead/Retaining Wall Evaluation—Wondervue Condominiums, 5321 E State Route 106,
(Parcel 32232-56-00900)Union,Washington
Dear Mr. Schaaf,
Envirotech Engineering (Envirotech) has completed this retaining wall analysis of an existing modular
block wall, and its influence with respect to an underlying concrete bulkhead. The block wall reportedly
replaced a rock wall about 3 years ago. For design considerations, the block wall is 3 feet high by 18 feet
in length above a portion of the bulkhead that is 4 feet to 6 feet above grade. The existing reinforced
concrete bulkhead has been recently addressed by Envirotech for repairs. The following analysis is
provided:

COM2O15-00039
To Whom It May Concern:
Envirotech Engineering (Envirotech) has conducted inspections of the reinforced concrete
bulkhead repair for the referenced project known as the Wondervue Condominiums Bulkhead
Repair.
Site inspections were performed on July 29", and July 30t', 2015. Envirotech verified
reinforcement steel, extents of the repair, and observed concrete placement.
We certify that work performed exceeded the engineered plans prepared by Envirotech, dated
February 21,2015, which were approved by Mason County DCD Planning on July 14, 2015.
Please call Michael Staten at 360-275-9374 if you have any questions or require additional
information.
