We hereby submit specifications and estimates for:
Estimate to construct approximately 44 lineal feet of concrete footing repair at the base of your
seawall. Area of repair between 46' and 56' from the NW corner and between 78' and 112' from said
corner. Provide 4"holes through footing to accept 2" concrete pump line on approximately 4' centers.
Use backhoe to excavate approximately 24" to 30" below existing beach grade. First day pour a section
in the middle of the 34' span. Set and pour 10' section. Complete 34' section on the second day.
Two important concessions as noted below would be needed from the property owners to the west.
This would enable 3esfield Construction access to the Wondervue Association's beach front.
1. Build temporary support to suspend ramp to existing float, allowing mini excavator to
travel underneath it. Ramp would be set back down for evening tide. Temporary
support must be removed upon footing repair completion.
2. Allow travel of mini excavator across beach from Union proper to the condos.
S 15,900 plus 8.5% sales tax
The above estimate excludes any unusual requirements called for by WDFW,i.e.pea gravel or
hauling away of ditch tailings. These stipulations would require a grounded barge.
Permit fees and acquisition costs for residential work average$3,500. A multi-family repair
project could be more. We are in the process of investigating with the various agencies involved the
question of permit longevity for a project done in stages. The fisheries permit(HPA)seems to be good up
to 5 years.
We propose hereby to furnish material and labor complete in accordance with above specifications for the sum of:
Fifteen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars plus 8.5%sales tax $ 15,900.00plus 8.5%
Payment to be as follows: 113 down.balance on completion. 1 '/2%per month carrying charge on past due accounts
All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All Work to be completer)to a workmanlike manner aecnrding J
