Install wood form boards even with the waterward side of the footing. Drill 4" holes through footing and pump concrete into the voids. Remove form materials and backfill areas of excavation with native material. Also includes after the fact review of modular concrete block wall previously constructed on top of the eastern bulkhead wing wall. 6b. Describe the purpose of the project and why you want or need to perform it. fheipl Existing bulkhead footing is being undermined by beach erosion. Work is to stabilize bulkhead and prevent damage. Also includes the installation of a modular concrete block retaining wall that was previously installed on top of the easterly wing wall of the concrete bulkhead. Excavation work will be done with an small excavator brought in from landward, and will use an existing single point access to the beach. Work will be contained within a narrow area of the beach parallel to the bulkhead. Work will occur at lower tides, no work will be performed when the area is inundated by tidal water. Filter fabric and fencing will be used as necessary to minimize water turbidity. All materials will be brought in and staged upland of the bulkhead. i 8b.
