Westlake Place,Allyn, WA 98524 Property: 12219-50-00012 We own two combined lots(12 & 13) in Lake Land Village, Division 7. This property is along the channel portion of Anderson Lake. Two trees are hanging over the water and one tree is diseased. All three trees were evaluated last week by the Arborist with Evergreen Tree Service. We hope to get them removed before the inclement weather begins. We have over 50 trees on this property and do not want to add additional trees. The Architectural Committee of Lakeland will review this request sometime next week. Thanks for your assistance. Alder Street Ronald Buckholt<RBuckholt@co.mason.wa.us> Tue, Sep 19,2017 at 9:45 AM To: quiringrj@gmail.com Dear Mr. Quiring, I am in receipt of your tree removal application, however, in order to process it, I need an accompanying site plan depicting tree replacement. Per the adopted resource ordinance, when hazardous trees are removed from the regulated shoreline, 6 new trees of the same species, no less than 3 yrs old, are required to be planted within the close proximity of the removed trees. However, in evaluating the property with GIS imaging and given the existing tree canopy coverage within the shoreline area, we can do a one-for-one replacement in order to establish a "no net loss" in habitat value and function within the regulated shoreline. Please provide me an accompanying tree replacement site plan (depicting the location of the 3 replacement trees in relation to the 3 proposed trees to be removed)at your earliest convenience. Upon receipt, I will be able to process and approve the tree removal application. Thank you in advance. Ron Buckholt Senior Planner Mason County Community Services Department 615 W.
