8) Provisions for surtace/subsurtace drainage control must be implemented with new construction or development on site ana MUJ I NU I adversely
impact adjacent parcels. Under the requirements of Mas;un County Stormwater Ordinance, either private ditches and drains will meet requirements
of the stormwater ordinance or prior approval will be granted to use an existing utility and drainage easement dedicated for that specific purpose.
For further information regarding this ordinance and the REQUIREMENT to obtain an ACCESS PERMIT for the installation/construction of a
driveway or access connecting from a Mason County Road, Contact the Mason County Public Works Department prior to construction at Ext 450.
For any construction which is proposed to be located within 25' of a Mason County road right of way, it is suggested to contact that office to review
future planned work which may affect your project.

9) Changes to approved buildin plans that affect compliance to the current Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), ventilation requirements),
Building/Plumbing/Mechanical Codes and/or Mason County Regulations shall be approved prior to construction.

10) CONSTRU TION PROCESS TO BE FIELD CORRECTED AS REQUIRED PER MASON COUNTY BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND THE
ADOPTED BUILDING CODE.
The construction of the permitted project is subject to inspections by the Mason County Building Department. All construction must be in
conformance with the international codes as amended and adopted by Mason County. Any corrections, changes or alterations required by a
Mason County Building Inspector shall be made prior to requesting additional inspections.

11) All build ,g permits shall have a final inspection performed and approved by the Mason County Building Department prior to permit expiration. The
failure to request a final inspection or to obtain approval will be documented in the legal property records on file with Mason County as being
non-c rr�pliant with Mason County ordinances and building regulations.

12) All per i expire 180 days after permit issuance, or 180 days after the last inspection activity is performed. The Building Official may extend the
time for action for a period not exceeding 180 days, upon the receipt of a written extension request indicating that circumstances beyond the control
of the emit holder have prevented action from being taken. No more than one extension may be granted.

13) Pressu1 treated wood manufactured after January 1, 2004 may contain high concentrations of copper which could quickly corrode metal
fasteners,;connectors, and flashing. Install metal connectors approved for contact with the new types of pressure treated material.

14) EXISTIN BUILDINGS
This project is approved as an existing building. The occupancy classification has not changed, and no alterations are proposed.
No change shall be made in the use or occupancy of any building that would place the building in a different division group of occupancies, unless
the build�g is made to comply with the requirements of this code for such division or group of occupancy.

15) MEANS_ F EGRESS DOORS
Means of egress doors shall be readily distinguishable from the adjacent construction and finishes such that the doors are easily recognizable as
doors. Egress doors shall be side-hinged unless specifically exempted in the International Building Code, Section 1008.1.2. Door hardware shall
allow egress doors to be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort.

16) POST ,CCUPANT LOAD
Every room or space that is an assembly occupancy, such as a restaurant, bar, or meeting room, shall have the occupant load of the room or
space posted in a conspicuous place, near the main exit or exit access doorway from the room or space. Posted signs shall be of an approved
legible ermanent design and shall be maintained by the owner or agent. (IBC1004.3)

17) EXITS & EXIT ACCESS DOORS
All doors shall be side hinged and swing in the direction of exit travel. All exit doors shall be illuminated at all times that the building is occupied and
be equipped with approved accessible hardware that does not require tight grasping, tight pinching or twisting of the wrist to operate.
ALL exits and exit access doors shall be marked by an approved exit sign readily visible from any direction of egress travel. All exit signs shall be
internally or ext rnally illuminated at all times and equipped with to ensure continued illumination for a duration of at least 90-minutes.

18) TENANT REV W- NO CHANGE
This project approved without changes to the existing structure that would normally require a building permit. The continued use will be the same,
a restaur nt classified as an A-2 occupancy.

19) FIRE EXTINGUISHERS:
Install 2A10BC fire extinguishers throughout the building in accordance with chapter 9 of the 2012 International Fire code. The fire extinguishers
shall be installed such that the extinguishers are located not more than a travel distance of 75 feet in any direction and mounted no more than 60
inches above floor to the top of the unit. At least one extinguisher is required on every level or floor.
Not less than 1 type K portable fire extinguisher shall be located in the commercial kitchen area, within 30 feet of the cooking appliances and no
closer than 10 feet.

20) KEY B X REQUIRED:
A key box/knox box is required to be installed in accordance with the 2012 International Fire Code Section 506. Please contact the local fire
distri t for more information and to discuss inspections for installation of the lock box system.

21) COMM RCIAL KITCHEN HOOD:
All commercial kitchen hood systems shall be protected with a UL300 compliant automatic fire extinguishing system installed in accordance with
manufacturer specifications and maintained as required by the 2012 International Fire Code, Building Code, and International Mechanical Code.
The system shall be inspected and tested for proper operation at 6-month intervals unless approved otherwise. Maintenance records shall be
availa I for inspectors during inspections.

and structure(s) for review and inspection. This permit/application becomes null &void if work or authorized construction is not commenced within 180 days or if
construction work is suspended for a period of 180 days. PROOF OF CONTINUATION OF WORK IS BY MEANS OF INSPECTION. INACTIVITY OF THIS
PERMIT PLICATION OF 180 DAYS WILL INVALIDATE THE APPLICATION.
