2.5.1
Because the project will be disturbing aproximaly 20,000 square feet of land, a Storm Water Site
Plan is required to be provided.
2.5.2
E1. Clearing limits marked with pink ribbons and on site plan.
E2. One access will be installed as per permit with Mason County Public Works.
E3.No creek is within 500ft of the clearing. All runoff water will be disbursed on site.
E4. Straw will be used on any standing water as well straw will be placed on any disturbed soil
and seeded with grass seed.
E5.All exposed soils will be seeded with grass as well open area will be planted with fruit trees
and shrubs.
E6. There are no slopes on the property or with in aproximatly 800ft
ET No drain infrastructure is planned for the site other than the culvert required by Mason
County Public Works for the access to the property.
E8. There are no channels or outlets nearby or associated with the property.
E9. The project will not produce any pollutants other than dust from clearing activities and
construction of the pole barn.
E10.No vaults or trenches are planned for the project. Gutters will be directed into gravel traps
as described in the planning department documents.
E11. Erosion will be controlled through out the project using straw and grass seed as well as
catch basins for any water that may stand during times of rainfall.
E12.
-Construction will be phased to minimize erosion of any soil.
-Erosion measures will be in place during all phases of construction. No sensitive ares or buffers
are associated with the site.
-No site work is planned between October 1 and April 30.
-PUD will be given a copy of the Storm Water Site Plan with the permit application.
-The construction site will remain under one acre.
-The S WPPP will remain on site in a binder with all other documents applicable to the project.
2.5.3
BMPs will be used to make sure no water leaves the parcel or project site.As it is flat land most,
if not all rain fall should soak directly into the ground. If water is to pool, straw will be placed in
and around the pool of water to aid in absorbtion. If any water is to flow in any direction it will
be contained in a small basin.
2.5.4
Because no water flows from the property at any time during the year and there are no Natural
Drainages or Outfalls, this requirement is not applicable to my project. The general grade of the
land will be maintained"just in case"and any surface water will be retained on site.
2.5.5
As described in earlier requirements, this project will employ on-site Storm Water Management
BMPs to infiltrate, disperse, and retain storm water runoff onsite. Roof Down spout control
BMPs will be in place to infiltrate all water from the building.
