PLANNING DEFT. Mason County Community Development Planning Department 411 N. 5th Street- Bldg 1 j Shelton, WA 98584 Planning Deparment Personnel; Hood_ Canal School District is currently working with the Division of Child Care Liscensing through DSHS to initiate a Kindergarten- Day Care combination program for students age 5. The concept is that students attending Kindergarten either morning or afternoon, would stay for the other part of the day in a Daycare setting, staffed by Hood Canal School Employees. One of the requirements of the application process is to contact the local Planning Department to find out if any ordinanaces or restrictions are required to establish such a program on the school campus. The District will be using current facilities for the project and will be going through State Fire Marshall and Health Inspections as required in the application. I am therefore, asking if there are any requirements from your department in this proposed project. Thank you. .. rnrerely, Bert Miller Principal i i II I An Equal Opportunity Employer
