Dear Debbera, Please find enclosed a plan review package for Hood Canal School District's new K-8 school facility. I have included the following documents for the permit and plan review process. • 1- Building permit application. • 1- Plumbing/Mechanical permit application. • Legal description of property parcels owned by school district. • 1- Set of completed Washington State energy code compliance forms. • 1- Set of structural calculations. • P.O. # 12303 in the amount of$13,728.69 for plan review fees. • 4- Sets of A/E project plans. • 4- Sets volumes 1 & 2 of project manual specifications (soil and draft storm drainage reports are included in volume 1). The above A/E plans and specifications are approximately 98% complete with the following exceptions and noted comments. • The large on site sewage disposal system is design if being designed and coordinated with Cindy Waite and Warner Engineering will be submitted separately for plan review and approval. • The entire school will have a full fire sprinkler system. We have been coordinating fire flow and storage requirements with State Fire Marshal Lance Talley and Craig Haugen. A back-up emergency generator is proposed for existing fire pumps. • The frontage setbacks to Hwy106 are approximately 26 feet. • Bracy& Thomas surveyors will be submitting application for a lot consolidation of three property parcels owned by HCSD. Currently no proposed building cross-existing property lines. • Currently, we are working with DOT for the site access driveways along SR 106. Our contact Engineer is Alana Hess. (360) 357-2725 Page 2 • We are currently proposing a connection to the Skohomish Tribe class "A" water system for the domestic supply. The existing school class"A" system will only service site irrigation and fire flow requirements. • A site wetland reconnaissance report prepared by Lee Boad was submitted last spring to the planning department. • The school district will be using the following consultants for all 3rd-party quality control inspections. Hal Parks at Geotechnical Testing Laboratory for all site soils related work. The school district will submit project plans once a pole-building contractor is selected. FYI The proposed project is scheduled to be advertised February 20, 2006 with a bid opening date of March 16, 2006 and a contractor start date of April 2006.
