Also, I would like to emphasize that the 2 hour walls, on approved plans were not a required code issue. The walls were a negotiated issue with the State Fire Marshal, because of the inadequate water storage volume for fire flow requirements. Please note, we also installed non-code smoke detectors in all classroom spaces as agreed with the jurisdiction involved. F.Y.I we have on site 60,000 gallons of on site storage for fire protection and fire sprinkler system along with Skykomish Tribe hydrants which can provide 1,000 GPM @ 20PSI residual on S.R. 106. We have appreciated working with Mason County on this project for the Students, Staff and the Community. If we have a few resolution items to resolve I hope that Mason County will be understanding and allow us a Temporary Occupancy Certificate. Again, I thank you, and if you have any questions please contact me at(360)491-7591 or cell (360) 789-1865. Sincerely, 6aryyy . Larson, P.E,Project Manager P.S.
