Description of Project:
Replace the existing air handling units in the Administration and Education Buildings at the Washington
State Patrol Training Academy. The existing penthouses will be removed, and new rooftop units, with
gas heat and electric cooling,will be installed. The existing distribution ductwork will not be disturbed orb
altered.
The Administration Building is approximately 7500 square feet, and is used as office space. The use of
this building will not change as part of this project.
The Education Building is approximately 6000 square feet, and is used as a training/classroom facility.
The used of this building will not change as part of this project.
Alternate#1: Replace existing boilers in the Kitchen Building with two(2)smaller gas boilers_
Alternate#2: Remove existing chiller,located outside the Kitchen Building.
Alternate#3: Upgrade the existing Honeywell control system to a web-based system.
