We have reviewed the Behlen submittal M5985 10/3/07 with respect to our foundation design B6.S100
permit submittal. We find that the foundation is compatible with the Behlen design, with slight comment.
1. Behlen provided portal frames on grids 1 and 3 between F and G. We do not show the portal frame
columns at these locations. At each of these locations there are 2 columns. Plinth configuration detail
10/S200 would be appropriate. The indicated footing dimensions are acceptable.
2. Detail 5a/S200 for this building: '/2'A.B. with D = 7" and 3/<"A.B. with D = 12". No bearing angles are
required.
