Special inspection reports shall be submitted to the Mason County Building Department, 615 W Alder St, Shelton WA 98584 and available for inspection. Inspection reports shall be completed and submitted to the dept. in a timely manner and shall be submitted prior to the framing and final occupancy inspections. The Building Official may extend the time for action for a period not exceeding 180 days, upon the receipt of a written extension request indicating that circumstances beyond the control of the permit older have prevented action from being taken. No more than one extension may be granted. X �. L 31) An inspection performed by a representative of the geologist, their authorized representative, or engineer of record, shall be completed on-site prior to the footing pour to verify that earthwork and foundation installation activities comply with the Geotechnical report or assessment recommendations. In addition a final inspection report, prepared by a representative of the geologist, their authorized representative, or engineer of record shall be required to verify that erosion control, drainage and final work is completed in accordance to the Geotechnical report or assessment recommendations. Reports shall be submitted to the Mason County Building Dept., PO Box 186, Shelton, WA 98584, prior to the footing and final inspections and available r inspection. X C 32) Pressure treated wood manufactured after January 1, 2004 may contain high concentrations of copper which could quickly corrode metal fasteners, connectors, and flashing. Install metal connectors approved for contact with the new types of pressure treated material. X /'� •C 33) Recyclable materials & Solid Waste Storage: Space shall be provided for the storage of recycled materials and solid waste. The storage area shall be designed to eet the needs of the occupancy, efficiency of pick-up, and shall be available to occupants and haulers.X 3. Certificates presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this code or other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. It is the contractor's/owner's assumptions and provide the necessary bearing capacity. Soils must generally be compacted to 95% Modified Proctor Density in accordance with ASTM D1557. All construction on fill soils shall be reviewed by a geotechnical engineer. If footing bear on fill material, a copy of the geotechnical engineer's report and recommendations shall be proved to the Building Department prior to scheduling any footing or foundation inspection. x 6. c__ 37) The following items are deferred submittals, this items will require additional submittals and review time. In addition the fees associated with these permits and reviews will be due apon approval.The items for deferred are: Fire Protection, Fire Alarm, Pre-Engineered Metal building (hay structure), sign, propane tank for dispensing, fence, plumbing, mechanical and energy code (lighting and Mechanical). A listing of the specific equipment; appliances or systems to be tested and a description of the tests to be performed. 6. Functions to be tested. 7. Conditions under which the test will be performed. 8. Measurable criteria for performance. Is there a possibility of moving the hydrant into the parking lot next to the FDC, making a pullout on US Highway for the responders to access the hydrant without inpeeding traffic, or maybe another solution. After talking to the local jurisdiction there are some concerns about the FDC location. As of now the responding engine companies coming from the South would have to park in the on coming lane of travel of US Highway 101 (45mph speed zone). For obvious reasons this is a responder safety issue. City of Shelton requests that the FDC and Hydrant be within 50' travel distance, not point to point, but rather distance which a firefighter, or responding apparatus would travel. We are willing to look at this particular issue, if we can make changes to the location to protect the safety of the responders. So the current problem is the FDC location. Is it possible to move it to the South entrance flowerbed area next to the driveway access and redesign the access to allow a fire engine coming from the South? Additionally, if the hydrant is moved into the parking lot area this would eliminate the safety concern of the apparatus being on Highway 101. This is just one option that I thought of, so any suggestions that you have, we can look at. We just want to address the safety issue for responding fire crews. The HVAC consist of 5 Roof Top Units that are 100% recirculated airflow. There is one Energy Recovery Ventilator serving the store, this unit supplies the outside air to the store, controlled by the amount of carbon dioxide. Each restroom has an exhaust fan, the electrical room and the office area. The domestic water serves the Office area and the restrooms. The interior lighting is on a time clock. The exterior lighting turns ON at dusk from a photo cell and the turns OFF at dawn. TEST RESULTS The Roof Top units (RTUs)operate per design. In full cooling the units are supplying 53°F supply air. In heating the units are supplying 81°F. The fan operate on a time clock, Monday thru Saturday they turn ON at 7 am and turn OFF at 9 pm. Sunday they turn ON at 8 am and turn OFF at 9 pm. They are monitored by the EMS. The Energy Recovery Ventilator(ERV) is on the same time clock as the RTUs. The ERV operates at a minimum speed of 40%. The CO2 sensor located in the store controls the ERV's fan speed. As the CO2 level increases above the 800 PPM set point, the ERV will increase in speed and supply more outside air to the space to lower the CO2 level. Once the CO2 level is below 800 PPM, the fan speed will decrease.This is monitored by the EMS. The Exhaust fans in the restrooms do turn ON and OFF with the room's light switch. The Electrical Room's exhaust fan was original controlled by an inline thermostat, this was changed to the fan being on at all times. The Unit heaters in the vestibule and the storage room are controlled by inline thermostats, the unit heater in the west side of the storage area is controlled by the EMS system. The domestic water is supplying 11 OF water to the restrooms. The Electrical meter is operational. This is not being monitored by the EMS. The interior lighting is on and off by the time clock.
