Roofs without insulation in the Cavity and where the sheathing or insulation is exposed during re-roofing shall be insulated either above or below the sheathing. Insulation is not required for roofs where neither the sheathing nor the insulation is exposed. (Reference IECC/WSEC R101.4.3) * All construction must meet or exceed all local and state ordinances in addition to the International Codes requirements as adopted and amended by Mason County and the State of Washington. Occupancy is limited to the approved and permitted classification. Under the requirements of Mason County Stormwater Ordinance, either private ditches and drains will meet requirements of the stormwater ordinance or prior approval will be granted to use an existing utility and drainage easement dedicated for that specific purpose.
