Complaint filing
Dear Mr. And Mrs. Kim,
On 3/27/02, our office received a complaint regarding blocked
access/egress doors in the entrance and a dangerous floor situation in the video
and cooler areas of the Spencer Lake Grocery.
Upon investigation of the complaint on 3/28/02, the inspector noted that it
appeared adequate egress was provided at the time of the inspection however,
he also indicated that the flooring in the video area was questionable but that no
obvious signs of failure were evident.
This office has closed the complaint enforcement file but recommends
that proper maintenance and caution is exercised on your behalf to maintain the
safety of your customers in regard to the possible flooring issues. Please contact
this office regarding permit requirements in the event that you find it necessary to
repair or replace any structural members of the floor system in the future.
