The stop work order is now lifted and work may proceed to complete the McClanahan remodeling. The details of code compliance will be worked out with Don Fawver, the building inspector. Reimann 5220 S.W. 19th Drive Portland, Oregon 97201 Re: Building Permit #7669 The question of the property line between the McClanahan and Reimann properties is still unresolved. Without a survey, and in the absence of property line agreement, I cannot do anything. I am suggesting that you owners get together, determine where an agreeable property line is, provide me with an acceptable description and conclude this matter. Until either a survey is made or the above agreement is concluded, construction will continue to be halted on the McClanahan job. Sincerely, James E. Connolly, Building Official /bc CC: Taurus Construction July 6, 1978 Mr. Darrel McClanahan 2006 Elm Longview, Wk. 98632 Dear Darrel: I have given serious thought to the problem of your new building overhanging my property line. The reason for all this serious thought is that you're a friend of mine as well as a neighbor, and I certainly want the friendliness and happiness shown between our families to continue. I believe that it is reasonable to ask that you remove the overhang and.properly finish the West side of your new house addition. Any responsibility concerning the County Code is between you and the County. Will see you soon. Best Rig ds. L ' 5220 S.
