The original report, dated October 15, 2018, was prepared by Envirotech (Project #18178).This addendum was prepared in order to address retaining walls for the project. r Envirotech conducted a site visit in November of 2022 in order to observe and document the recently constructed block walls on the property located between the existing home and bulkhead. The block wall system consists of 2 tiers of modular concrete block walls of 4 feet in height. Envirotech has provided an engineered retaining wall design under a separate cover accounting for localized lateral earth pressures utilizing the results of our geotechnical investigation. Due to the sensitivity of the underlying subgrade soils, there is a possibility of some downhill creep. If this occurs, additional wall movement/ settlement could occur beyond standard expectations for a retaining wall. However, we certify that the retaining walls, as-built, do not pose a threat to life or nearby property considering that the home was constructed per our original geotechnical report.
