The parcel as noted above contains multiple code enforcement violations of the
building/construction and/or development codes as adopted by Title 14 and Title
15 of the Mason County Code. Records indicate that the construction and
placement of park model, deck, propane tank and covered RV carport were
performed without the required permits or approval through Mason County.
Occupancy and use of structures have not been approved or granted and no
inspections performed.
The owner was informed of the violations, but refused to comply by submitting
the required permit requirements. Four (4) after-the-fact building permits were
submitted and have since cancelled due to lack of activity and submittal of the
required documents in order to review and process. The purpose of this notice is
to inform future owners and/or lienholders that the structures, as they exist, do
not comply with Mason County requirements according to standards currently in
place.
The recording of this document does not waive the rights of Mason County
to pursue enforcement/compliance action against the owner of record at
this time, future owners who purchase the property in this condition or any
party with any legal interest in the parcel or personal property. This
structure has not been permitted, inspected or approved by Mason County
Building Department.

The Mason County Department of Community Development previously notified you on
May 8, 2008, by mail, that the park model, propane tank, deck and covered RV carport were in
violation status. You had submitted four (4) after-the-fact building permits, which have sinec
been cancelled due to lack of activity.
The owner was made aware of these violations but failed to comply by submitting the
required documents and plans in order to process and review permits. To date, no response
from owner or compliance actions have been met and parcel 12206-31-00020 is still in violation.
In reviewing your enforcement case, I see that you have made no attempt to make the
necessary arrangements, which leads me to no other option but to commence with enforcement
action. A Certificate of Existing Non-Conforming Development has been recorded with the
Mason County Auditor against parcel 12206-31-00020. A copy of the certificate is attached.
This recording of Certificate of Non-Conforming Development does not waive the
rights of Mason County to pursue additional enforcement actions.
