MASON COUNTY PLANNING CO ISSION
June 16, 1980
Mason County Courthouse
7:00 p.m.
The Planning Commission met in the CI urtroom of the Court-
house at 7:00 p.m. Present were Chairman, Edwin Taylor and
William Goodpaster and Duane Robinson. Also present were James
Connolly and Ron Howard.
' } Preliminary Plat Hearing:
Island Lake Manor II. This is a 5 a 2re addition to Division
I that was considered at that time preliminary plat approval of
that Plat. Neither Health or Engineering have commented on this
plat, but approval is expected. Motion s conded and passed to
approve this preliminary plat subject to approval of Health and
Engineering Departments.
Preliminary Sketch:
Lakeland Village #10. After conside ation of this sketch the
Planning Commission determined it needs r design especially along
the west side and the north edge at the c 1-de-sac. The concerns
of the Health Department must be satisfie .
Parking Variance:
Anthony Paradise requested a variance from paving and land-
scaping requirements. Paving would be for one year.
Moved to grant a variance from any landscaping requirements
and to extend for one year the need to pave the parking area -
adopted subject to a bond to assure paving.
Stan Johnston requested a time extension for paving the back
lot for one year and the front lot for six months. Motion second-
ed and approved subject to a bond to assure timely completion.
