If we do not hear from you within the that time, your permit will be cancelled and a building inspector will make a site visit. In the event that your project has been completed and a permit was never issued, you will be assessed penalties as allowed under Mason County Title 14 and Mason County Title 15. During your site pre-inspection staff indicated that wetland plants were observed on your property. The county has adopted new regulations regarding wetlands since your site pre-inspection completed on Oct 29,2004.Wetlands are regulated by MCRO 7.01.070(updated December 27,2006)and a wetland assessment/delineation will need to be completed to determine if a wetland buffer is appropriate. A list of wetland professionals is included with this letter. Currently the county does not have a consultant list for Licensed Geologists. You may find that some of the consultants on the wetland list may also do geo-assessments. Using a consultant who does both may save time and money. If you have any questions,please give me a call.
